We have strong visual art programs in all of our public schools.
Art Walk Final Fridays on the last Friday of June through September from 5 to 8 p.m. starting at Artisans on Center Street, down 100 West to Art Works, and on to Southern Utah Museum of Art at 300 W. The Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA) offers free public programming for children and families throughout the year, which includes: Family Day (Second Saturdays, all ages), Wonder Wednesday (Third Wednesdays, K-5th grade), and Create Playdate (Final Wednesdays, preschoolers). The museum also offers guided tours and classroom activities, thanks to Cedar City RAP Tax. www.suu.edu/suma
